Introduction
Undertaking this project posed the challenge of crafting optimal visual shots for the advertisement. Through this process, I acquired valuable insights into stage setting and the creation of backgrounds to heighten overall visual appeal. Although my prior focus had been on 3D animation, I had not fully appreciated the significance of background visuals in this context. This endeavor broadened my understanding of crafting compelling 3D advertisements, constituting a significant learning experience within my portfolio.
About Surface Laptop Studio
Pen and Touch
The Laptop Studio supported the Surface Pen, providing a responsive and precise stylus input for drawing and note-taking. The touchscreen was also compatible with touch gestures.
Making
Inspired by Microsoft's ad visuals and their innovative use of camera angles and movements, I embarked on a project to create visually captivating content. This immersive exploration provided me with valuable insights into the art of crafting striking visuals.
In particular, I focused on a unique aspect of this project: the intricacies of the laptop model itself. I paid special attention to its distinctive folds, designed to leave a lasting impression on the audience. This endeavor not only sharpened my 3D modeling skills but also led me to conduct in-depth research on the endless possibilities of achieving captivating visual aesthetics.
